A. You can spend your eGift card on Xbox stores when you shop at the Microsoft Store online, on Windows or on Xbox as soon as you’ve redeemed the balance.
A. Your Microsoft Xbox eGift card can be used to buy many things including the latest apps, games, TV shows and movies.
You’ll also be able to use your eGift card to purchase some in-app products such as new levels and coins. It’s important to note, however, that certain purchases - such as subscriptions - will need a credit card.
A. You’ll first need to redeem your Microsoft Xbox eGift card by heading to http://www.microsoft.com/redeem and logging in to your Microsoft account.
From here, you’ll need to enter all 25 characters of the provided code to redeem the balance on your eGift card. The digital eGift card will then be available to use at the Microsoft Store online.
A. No, Microsoft Xbox eGift cards don’t expire, so you can take your time choosing which Microsoft products you want to purchase with your card. The only exception to this rule is promotional gift cards; if you have something from Microsoft or Xbox Rewards, for instance, you’ll find that these do have expiration dates. A. Once you purchase the eGift card, you’ll receive the 25-character digital code in an email. From there, you can print the code, forward the email including the code or even send it via an instant message. Once you’ve sent the eGift card, your friend or family member can then redeem the balance themselves and use it at the Microsoft Store online.
